The Megger BD-59090 MOM2 is a handheld, high-current micro-ohmmeter designed for fast and accurate low-resistance measurements in field and laboratory environments. With the ability to generate up to 240 A, it is ideal for testing low, medium, and high-voltage circuit breakers, bus-bar joints, and other high-current links where precision is critical.
Using DualGround™ technology, the MOM2 allows both sides of the test object to remain grounded during measurement, ensuring operator safety and minimizing downtime. The instrument’s ultra-capacitor technology delivers powerful test currents without the bulk of a large power supply, making it extremely portable at only 1 kg (2.2 lbs).
The MOM2 automatically ranges from 1 μΩ to 1000 mΩ, stores up to 190 test results, and transfers data wirelessly via Bluetooth to a PC for analysis using the included MOM2 Win software. This makes it a versatile choice for electrical maintenance teams, utilities, and service providers.
