Returns & Claims for Industrial Instrumentation

Matson Calibration operates in highly regulated technical industries, and we recognize the importance of timely, accurate equipment delivery. However, in the rare case of issues with your order, we offer a professional return and refund process aligned with B2B standards.


🔁 Return Terms

Returns are accepted within 7 calendar days of receipt, under the following conditions:

  • Wrong item received

  • Defective or DOA (Dead on Arrival) unit

  • Shipping damage with proper evidence

  • Unopened, unactivated, and unused equipment mistakenly ordered

All returns must be pre-approved with an RMA (Return Material Authorization) code.


📋 Return Process

  1. Email logistics@matsoncalibration.com with your:

    • PO number / Invoice number

    • Description of issue

    • Serial number and photos (if applicable)

  2. Receive and confirm RMA approval

  3. Securely package the instrument in original condition

  4. Return item using insured, trackable shipping


💵 Refund / Credit Note

  • Refunds are made within 7–14 business days after product inspection

  • Refunds are issued to the original method or via corporate credit note

  • In some cases, we may issue a replacement unit if available


⚠️ Return Restrictions

  • Custom-configured units

  • Equipment that has been installed or used

  • Software licenses / downloads

  • Any product with tampered serial number or missing accessories

We reserve the right to decline returns that do not meet the criteria above.


📦 Important Notes

  • Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility unless agreed otherwise

  • Items returned without an RMA will not be accepted

  • All return claims must be filed within 7 calendar days of delivery
